"The giant English elms of my childhood were all wiped out by Dutch elm disease in the 70s. This summer, I was lucky enough to be given two bits, one from a friend in Brittany and this one from a friend in Correze. It's a magnificent wood.
Les ormes anglais géants que j'ai connu enfant ont été décimés par la maladie hollandaise de l'orme pendant les années 70. J'ai eu la chance d'en recevoir deux bouts cet été, un d'un ami breton et celui-là d'un ami de la Correze. C'est un bois magnifique."
